Getting ready for Winter

Hello friends ~

Obviously my blogging skills have a lot to be desired, as this is my first blog in a long time.  With 3 garages, 7 bays, 5 lifts and 5 mechanics, most of my day is spent keeping up with them, managing all the paperwork and keeping updated on all the new laws, new taxes and education available.  I wanted to take this time though to remind all of our customers about the necessary winter care all vehicles require.

I know many people, including myself, do not want to even think about the cold of winter and the dreaded "S" word.  Unfortunately, it is a necessary evil living in good old Pennsylvania, and if we do not properly care for our vehicles, it will wreak havoc on them.  We have already had freezing temperatures, so if you have not had your coolant flushed and replaced with antifreeze, it is imperative that you do so immediately.  Most people run water in their coolant system during the summer to save money, which is fine for the warm weather.........but will freeze up in the cold weather and cause many problems including engine trouble.   Another important issue is making sure you have good tires that go in the snow.  (Oops....said the dreaded "s" word out loud)  The last thing you want is to get into an accident or be stuck out in the cold because your tires won't go in the snow.  In addition to these important winter checks, we also recommend a safety check every 6 months and of course your regular oil change every 3 months.  We can't stress how important routine maintenance is for your vehicle.

As always, we provide all these services at the lowest cost to our customers.   We pride ourselves in excellent service, including customer care and honesty.  ( A hard quality to find anymore....but we still have it!)

If you would like to make an appointment or just get more information about our services, please give us a call at (412) 277-5337.

Peace and Blessings,

Vicki
