Changes

Hello friends,

In all the ups and downs over the past year, it has been brought to my attention that I have failed to keep up with our website and blog.   Thus, I have updated the site and am going to share some of the wonderful changes being made around the garage.

As time goes on, we learn and grow like every other business.   The most important thing we learned in the past year, is that we are strong enough to withstand a lot of hardships.

New Beginnings

Welcome Spring......well officially anyway.  This is always my favorite time of the year.  Not just for the warmer weather, grass growing, flowers blooming and birds chirping.........but also because it is a time for new beginnings.  Each Spring, we do one big project.  This year was moving the shop into a bigger and better building.  By April 1st, we will be completely out of the old shop and into the new.  Hopefully our sign will be ready by then also.  Come see us at our new location at 4210 Campbells Run Rd in Robinson Township, PA.

Getting ready for Winter

Hello friends ~

Obviously my blogging skills have a lot to be desired, as this is my first blog in a long time.  With 3 garages, 7 bays, 5 lifts and 5 mechanics, most of my day is spent keeping up with them, managing all the paperwork and keeping updated on all the new laws, new taxes and education available.  I wanted to take this time though to remind all of our customers about the necessary winter care all vehicles require.

I know many people, including myself, do not want to even think about the cold of winter and the dreaded "S" word.

Hello friends ~

Sorry it has been so long since the last blog post.  We have been very busy around the garage, making sure all of our customers are completely satisfied with the quality and timely manner of our work.

With the winter months soon upon us, we have been busy with coolant flushes, tire changes and basic safety checks.  It is very important to make sure your vehicle is filled with antifreeze instead of water, you have good tires that will go in the snow, and it is always important to make sure your oil and transmission fluids are good.

Hello all ~

Sorry it has been a while since my last post.  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.  With the holiday's and getting comfy in our new place, it has been a very busy time.  Also, our son had surgery January 3rd, which caused a delay in paper and computer work.  Now that he has recovered and back to school, we are back in full swing here.  We have been working on fixing up the new place to make it comfortable for everyone.  New lifts and updated equipment have been installed.

Hello to all ~

Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season.  To us, the season started at Thanksgiving.  We are so very thankful for all the gifts in our lives, that includes all of you ~ our customers.  We have gotten to know so many new and wonderful people since opening this business, we can't express how happy that makes us.  That is why we have moved to increase our space without raising our prices.  More room gives us increased productivity, which means our customers get their cars back even faster!

Hello Friends,

Wanted to keep everyone up to date on the latest news about moving the shop.  After the first deal fell through for us on November 9th, we found another place, but turns out the zoning laws for that area would not permit an Inspection station.  Then we got a call from the first guy saying his deal to sell the place fell through and he would like to rent it out to us.  We then called the code enforcement officer and asked if this place would be allowed and he said yes.

Hello Friends,

Last week I wrote about our plans to move into a bigger garage.  Well, the garage we were looking into is no longer available, so we are still looking for a new place.  We would really like to stay in the Carnegie area for the convenience of our customers, but in the meantime, we are doing what we can to stay warm in this cold weather.  At least we have a heated waiting room with hot fresh coffee for our customers, because their comfort is what really counts!

Hello friends,

With the cold weather upon us, we are finding it neccessary to find a new garage that can accomodate our work load.  Currently, we are in a one bay garage, with 2 offices, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms.   With a daily work load of at least 5 cars, we have outgrown this  garage, which is a very positive sign that we are moving in the right direction.   The new garage will be able to hold four cars, plus has 2 offices and a bathroom.  We will miss the kitchen, but will still set up a coffee bar for our customers in one of the offices.
